This publication is an edited version of author and human geographer Oli Mould’s publication “Against Creativity”. It was created as a complimenting visual response and a critical editorial response to Mould’s thoughts. For the user to fully experience the dialogue created, it is important to engage with the booklets individually, but also view it as a whole publication. Each booklet and page is an important part of the puzzle. Key parts of each section are the smaller booklets within the chapters, which showcase various individual’s opinions on Mould’s thoughts. These, at times contradicting and critical opinions mirror the whole essence of this editor’s edition publication- the user must always consume the information with critical and analytical approaches, question and analyse everything.
Mould’s opinions on being ‘against’ creativity are opposed with the radical and at times satirical visuals as well as the opinions of multiple professionals in their respective areas. This publication is not intended to be “against” or “pro” creativity- it simply seeks to question and explore it through areas that could initially seem un-creative to the viewer.
